Labyrinth Team
Our team mission and purpose are to create a sacred space for meditation in a beautiful, peaceful environment. We provide continued care and beautification of our Sacred Labyrinth and the surrounding gardens. If you enjoy gardening, watering, planting and the great outdoors than this team is for you! Our volunteers also place Memorial Bricks on the pathway with love and prayer. We gather March through October on the 2nd and 4th Friday mornings and join Team Habitat for their coffee break!

Team Habitat for Unity
Our team was born out of the Habitat for Humanity philosophy. Our mission is to maintain the Unity grounds and buildings within the scope of our abilities. Our purpose is to complete the tasks requested by the Board and Staff with the ultimate goal of monetary savings for the community. We are an active, cohesive team that exhibits camaraderie and willingness to get the job done. We strictly adhere to safety and security policies and procedures. Our duties range from landscaping to hauling and installing as well as interior beautification. We enjoy our coffee and goodie breaks too! Meets monthly on the 2nd and 4th Fridays so come and join us!

Safety and Security Team
Our team purpose and mission are to maintain and implement the Safety and Security Policies approved by our Board. We provide training for use of emergency equipment and procedures for emergencies. We are committed to ensuring a secure and safe environment at Unity of The Blue Ridge. Our team is comprised of Unity church members who meet twice a month. Members ideally have a strong desire to protect our community and learn safety and security measures. We are confident and prepared to lead and guide during an emergency situation.

Unity Sustainability Team
Our Unity Sustainability Team is enthusiastic about caring for Mother Earth. They create positive environmental practices guided by our Earth Care Covenant. This team strives to raise environmental awareness along with a strong commitment and desire to bring new ideas for sustainability to leadership. They also reach out and partner with other environmental organizations in an effort t0 protect and support our planet.
