I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where I was introduced to several spiritual traditions before discovering Unity Church after college. From my very first Sunday in Unity—listening to Miss Georgy Rock sing “Rainbow Connection”—I knew I had found my spiritual home. I joined Unity in the late 1980s and later served a three-year term on the church’s Board of Directors, including one year as President. I hold a BS in Business Administration from Saint Louis University and spent over 20 years working as a paralegal in estate planning, corporate law, and civil litigation.
My husband John and I discovered Unity of The Blue Ridge while visiting the area in 2022, and the warmth of this community helped guide our decision to make it our home. We became members in December 2023. I currently serve on the Flower and Sustainability Teams and have supported seasonal decorating and organization projects. I feel called to serve on the Board as a way to give back more deeply, offering my leadership experience, organizational skills, and a heartfelt commitment to our spiritual community.
