Introducing the Meal Train Community Care Outreach: A Way to Serve and Support Our Community

We are excited to announce the launch of our Meal Train Community Care Outreach, designed to support members and active participants of Unity of The Blue Ridge who are going through illness or recovering from surgery. This ministry will provide home-cooked meals or donations for food delivery to those in need, helping to ease the burden on individuals and families during difficult times.

How It Works:

  • If a member or active participant in our Unity Community is at home recovering from surgery or is temporarily incapacitated, they can request a Meal Train to be activated to meet their need for assistance with meals.
  • Church members or active participants may sign up to bring a meal by accessing the schedule, which will be posted when activation occurs, ensuring a consistent flow of support.
  • This is a wonderful way for us to show love, compassion, and care to our Unity community.

Get Involved:

  • If you would like to sign up to bring a meal, please watch for updates via our eNews or in the Welcome Center on our community bulletin board.
  • If this service is helpful to you, you or a family member can submit a request form (click here) or through the weekly eNews.
  • This is a wonderful opportunity for us to express love, compassion, and care to our Unity Community. Your participation and kindness will make a difference!
